Wood - All standard shutters are constructed from the following:

  • 1-1/8” thick “D” & better kiln dried pine
  • 1-1/8” thick “D” & better kiln dried cedar
  • 1” thick “B” grade kiln dried redwood

Construction - Stiles & Rails are connected using a cope and stick method. The stiles and rails are fastened with rust resistant screws. The screw holes are then plugged and sanded
